Define the locker’s power budget and controller interface. The documented module combined low-power electronics, an OLED display and TTL communication.

Self-Service & Smart Lockers · Documented Posti project
Low-Temperature Keypad and OLED Module for Posti Parcel Lockers
Challenge. Posti’s outdoor lockers required low-temperature operation, low available power, multilingual interaction and a compact sealed input module for Finland’s winter conditions.
Solution. DAVOLIN developed the D-87161 stainless steel keypad module with an OLED display and TTL interface, matching the panel and electronics to the locker.
Result. The module remained functional after a 16-hour test at −40°C. Posti confirmed an initial 215-unit order and began installation in June 2021, with procurement continuing in subsequent years.
Evidence boundary. These test conditions and order details belong to the documented Posti configuration; they are not blanket performance guarantees for every locker keypad.
