Clinical-Hygiene Input Devices
for Patient Care
The medical industry has long depended on DAVOLIN membrane and silicone keyboards. Our custom Omron micro-switch membrane keyboards and silicone keyboards give medical products a professional, finished appearance — and a continuous surface that is easy to sterilise.
ENGINEERING APPROACH
Solutions
Configure cleanable physical input for shared clinical workstations. The documented European hospital project connects cleaning controls, low-light use and compact cart integration.

01
Support routine cleaning
Review a sealed silicone input surface and a keyboard-lock function so staff can clean the keyboard without unintended input. Confirm the cleaning protocol for the selected device.
02
Fit the mobile workstation
Match the keyboard footprint, compact numeric-key area and USB connection to the cart and all-in-one computer.
03
Accommodate low-light operation
Consider adjustable backlighting and power control for the clinical workflow. Confirm the final model and workstation configuration before specifying a product.

Medical & Healthcare Equipment · Documented hospital workstation project
Washable Silicone Keyboard for Mobile Medical Workstations
Challenge. Shared mobile workstations needed a sealed input surface, practical cleaning controls and a compact layout within limited hospital-cart space.
Solution. DAVOLIN provided a silicone USB keyboard with a keyboard-lock function, power control, adjustable backlighting and a compact numeric-key area.
Result. The keyboard was installed on multiple mobile medical workstations with the European hospital’s all-in-one computers and carts, addressing cleaning, space and low-light requirements.
Evidence boundary. The hospital is not named in the source, and the exact product model is unconfirmed. This case is not assigned to any of the Related Products below and makes no clinical-outcome claim.
