Review a full keyboard, trackball and numeric keypad as one input area for dimensions, bending parameters, programs and machine settings.

Adapt mounting to the finished console
Match panel dimensions, fixing details and cable outlet to the machine. The documented D-8605 project changed rear-panel mounting to front-panel installation.

Validate before production
Confirm the USB connection and mechanical fit through sample approval before series production. Review any additional machine-control integration as a separate design stage.

Front-Mounted D-8605 for a CNC Tube Bending Machine
Challenge. The tube-bender console needed full keyboard input, trackball control and numerical entry, but required front installation rather than the standard rear mounting.
Solution. DAVOLIN redesigned the D-8605 mounting structure and matched its fixing details, panel dimensions and cable outlet to the CNC console, with a USB interface.
Result. After sample approval, the project progressed to a 100-unit production order. The customized keyboards were installed beside the touchscreen and machine controls.
Evidence boundary. The later concept of combining more machine controls into one operator panel remains a design direction, not a completed production configuration.
