Yes. Send us your standard NDA (or request our template) and we will countersign before any drawing, project specification or quotation is exchanged.

For stocked models (standard off-the-shelf keyboards, keypads, trackballs and touchpads) the minimum order quantity is 1 piece.

For custom projects — including custom size, layout, legend, colour, backlight, interface or cable — the typical MOQ is 5 pieces for samples and 50–100 pieces for the first production batch. Smaller runs can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

We work with EXW Shenzhen (default), DAP (delivered to named place), FOB, CIF and DDP on request. Our logistics team will quote both the freight cost and the customs-clearance option that fits your project.

Shipping cost is based on the volumetric weight of the package, the destination, the chosen service (express air, standard air, sea, courier) and any special handling required. We share the calculation alongside each quotation so you can see exactly how it is built up.

Express air freight or international courier can be arranged for urgent orders.

T/T (wire transfer) to our Hong Kong or Shenzhen bank accounts, PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay, and cash for local pickup. For long-term customers we can also arrange freight-forwarder settlements.

For new customers we typically work with a 50% deposit / 50% balance before shipment structure.

For orders below 5,000 USD we may require 100% payment in advance.

For established customers with a payment history, net-30 credit terms can be discussed.

Yes, after a 6–12 month order history with on-time payments we can extend net-30 credit terms. The exact limit is reviewed per customer.

CNC machining, sheet-metal fabrication, plastic injection molding, silicone / rubber moulding, laser engraving, surface finishing (sanding, blasting, brushing, anodizing, electroplating, powder coating and painting), electronics assembly (SMT and through-hole), and final assembly & functional testing.

Yes. For every custom project we provide 2D drawings and a 3D CAD model (STEP / IGES), together with a Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) review that highlights any tolerance, IP-sealing or assembly risk before tooling.

Mechanical assembly, fastening, sanding, sandblasting, brushing, painting, coating (anti-fingerprint, anti-bacterial), laser engraving, silkscreen printing, anodizing, electroplating and powder coating. Lead times are quoted per project.

ISO 9001:2015 for the quality management system. Product-level certifications include CE, RoHS and FCC. Reports available on request: IP67 / IP68 sealing, Ex-proof, low-temperature, salt-spray, ESD and EMC.

For stocked products, samples are typically free (customer pays the courier cost). For custom projects a tooling / sample fee applies; this fee is refunded when a bulk order is placed, depending on the order volume.

Yes. Customer logos can be applied via laser engraving, silkscreen printing or colour-fill. Custom retail packaging, user manuals and labelling are all available.

Yes. Send us the model number or your requirements and we will provide a sample quotation. Standard stocked samples typically ship within 3–9 days via DHL / FedEx / UPS.

Samples: 3–9 days for stocked models, 7–15 days for custom. Mass production: 15–30 days after sample approval, depending on complexity and quantity.

The standard HS code for industrial rugged keyboards is 8471.60.71 (input units). Custom declarations, certificates of origin and HS-code optimisation can be provided by our logistics team based on your country.

Yes. We support custom size, language layout, legend pattern, key shape, interface and cable. Send a sketch or a reference drawing and our engineering team will produce a 2D / 3D model and DFM feedback within 24–48 hours.

Yes. We can build a 3D-printed prototype, an SLA / SLS mock-up, or a fully functional engineering sample so you can validate ergonomics, mounting and sealing before tooling.

Any language and any symbol set. Laser engraving, silkscreen printing, two-shot moulding and dye-sublimation are all available; talk to us about the durability target (chemical / solvent / abrasion resistance).

Yes. Cable length, connector type (USB-A, USB-B, mini-USB, aviation connectors, M12, RJ45, DC jack …) and pin assignments can be customized. Provide the specification and we will quote.

Rugged industrial keyboards use metal (stainless steel, zinc alloy or aluminium) housings, sealed silicone or membrane key actuation, O-ring sealing and PCB conformal coating. They survive dust, water, oil, vibration, impact, ESD and a much wider temperature range than a standard office keyboard.

From IP54 (splash-proof front panel) up to IP68 (full immersion to customer-specified depth and duration). Most marine, mining and outdoor projects are IP65 / IP67 / IP68 rated. Test reports are available on request.

Yes. Our vandal-resistant range uses stainless-steel or zinc-alloy housings and short-travel keys rated IK10 impact resistance. They are designed for unattended kiosks, ticket machines and public-access terminals.

Most DAVOLIN keyboards support operation with nitrile / latex work gloves and many support heavy winter gloves when paired with the appropriate key travel and actuation force. Tell us your use-case and we will recommend the right model.

Stainless steel vandal-resistant keys are rated for >5 million actuations per key. Silicone rubber keys are typically rated for >1 million actuations. Membrane and capacitive variants vary; full lifespan data is in each model’s datasheet.

Plug-and-play on Windows, Linux and macOS via USB. No driver installation required for standard HID devices. Custom protocols (RS232 / RS485 / CAN / matrix) come with reference driver code and integration support.

Yes — PS/2, RS232, RS485, CAN bus, matrix output and any custom digital or analog interface. Tell us what the host controller expects and we will design the matching electronics.

Cable length, connector type and pin assignment are fully customizable. Standard stocked cable is 1.5 m USB; we routinely ship 0.5–10 m custom lengths and a wide range of connector options.

Our engineers provide a solution within 24 hours. For defects covered by our warranty we offer a 1:1 replacement unit or replacement components (PCB, key switch, silicone overlay, cable, etc.). Damage from misuse, unauthorized modification or out-of-spec operation is not covered — see our Warranty Policy for full terms.

Small trial orders: air freight via FedEx / DHL / UPS / TNT, with door-to-door delivery and tracking.

Large orders: air, sea (FCL / LCL), or rail freight. We can arrange EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP — tell us which works best for your project.

Express (FedEx / DHL / UPS): 3–7 business days to most destinations.

Air freight: 5–10 business days.

Sea freight (LCL / FCL): 15–40 days depending on the destination port.

For DAP and DDP terms, yes — we deliver to your door and handle customs clearance and duty payment on your behalf. For EXW / FOB, the customer appoints their own freight forwarder and customs broker.
